("Wildfire Warden," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit wildfirewarden.com, request a free home hardening assessment, or otherwise contact us. It also explains the cookies and tracking technologies we use and how you can opt out.

When you submit a form, book an assessment, apply for a job, call, or email us, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, property address, details about your home, messages, and any files you send. If you become a client, we also collect the information needed to perform and bill for the work, such as assessment findings, photos of your property, contract details, and payment records.
With your consent, our website uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies from the following providers. None of these non-essential tools load until you click "Accept" on our cookie banner.
Google Tag Manager (Google LLC): a container that loads the analytics and advertising tags listed below. It is loaded only after you accept cookies.
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): collects information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and interactions with buttons and forms. Data is used to understand traffic and improve the site.
Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing (Google LLC): records when a visitor arriving from a Google ad completes an action such as booking an assessment, and may be used to show you Wildfire Warden ads on Google services and partner sites. Under California law this may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 6.
Calendly (Calendly LLC): powers our online appointment booking. When you open a booking widget, Calendly sets its own cookies and receives the information you enter to schedule. Calendly's privacy policy governs its processing of that data.
Webflow (Webflow, Inc.): hosts the website and processes form submissions. Webflow may set strictly necessary cookies required for the site and its forms to function. These do not require consent.
A first-party cookie named ww_consent stores your cookie choice for 12 months so we do not ask you again on every visit.
We use the information described above to respond to your inquiries, schedule and perform assessments and installation work, prepare proposals and contracts, process payments, provide documentation you can share with your insurer, send service-related communications, comply with licensing, permitting, and legal obligations, measure and improve our website and advertising, and protect against fraud and misuse.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the business (website hosting, scheduling, analytics, advertising, payment processing, CRM and document tools, and subcontractors or material suppliers for your project), with government agencies when required for permits or by law, and with professional advisors. Advertising tags described in Section 3 may result in "sharing" with Google for advertising purposes; you can opt out at any time.
Cookie banner: when you first visit, you can choose Accept or Decline. Declining keeps all analytics and advertising tags off. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out and do not load analytics or advertising tags, regardless of any prior banner choice.
Google: you can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent forms and booking from working.
Email and phone: to opt out of marketing communications, reply "unsubscribe" or contact us at info@wildfirewarden.com.
California residents may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about them, the sources and purposes, and the categories of third parties we share it with; request deletion or correction of personal information; and opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor these requests whether or not the California Consumer Privacy Act technically applies to a business of our size, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf with written permission.
We keep inquiry and lead information for up to 24 months after our last contact. Client project records, contracts, assessment reports, and photos are kept for as long as required by California contractor licensing and tax rules, typically at least 4 years after project completion, and may be kept longer to support warranty and insurance documentation. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics settings (currently 14 months).
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our business systems, and reputable third-party providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our services and website are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
